The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Customer Services Officer to join our Customer Service and Records Team. In this position you will assistwith the overall operation of the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley Kununurra Administration Office through the provision of efficientand effective customer service and records managementfunctions.
Your responsibilities will include
* Being the first point of contact for customerenquiries;
* Processing and receipting of monies, reconciling dailytakings to cash receipting reports and preparing and processingdaily banking;
* Providing efficient and effective records managementservice delivery, by managing incoming correspondence, bothpaper and digital;
* Assisting with ensuring that the records management systemis managed, maintained and accessible in accordance withlegislative obligations;
* Assisting with the provision of quality / timely researchand information retrieval services;
* Assisting with undertaking the appropriate research,correspondence and actions associated with Freedom ofInformation requests ensuring compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 1992, and other legislation such as the Local Government Act1995;
Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or suitable relevant experience in a similar position and a current unrestricted WA "C" Class Driver's Licence are essential for this role. You will also have demonstrated customerservice skills, developed written and verbal communication skills, developed time management skills and proven experience in the useof Microsoft Office products.

We are offering a remuneration package inclusive of allowancesand Superannuation between $88,000 to$100,000 (dependent on skills and experience) per annum for this role.
