Education Support Officer Role
This role is designed to support students in their academic, social and personal growth.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist students individually and in groups, contributing to their overall learning experience.
* Under teacher supervision, create engaging learning materials, provide direct student support, and contribute to college activities with student involvement.
* Supervise and care for students with formally identified additional needs in accordance with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
* Using applied personal knowledge, suggest modifications to educational programs to meet specific student learning needs.
* Assist with identifying student learning or behaviour challenges.
* Assist teachers with student supervision during excursions, sports activities, school events and yard assist, as required.
* Build positive relationships with students, families, and the college community.
* Assist students with additional needs, including personal care, if required.
