Park Presentation Coordinator Role
This is a highly responsible position that requires effective leadership and coordination skills to ensure a positive work environment and efficient operation of the Park Presentation Team.
* Lead by example, monitor, motivate and create a positive work environment for team members to achieve all tasks completed by the team.
* Oversee administrative compliance for required reporting, records, training, safety, stock take, ordering, purchase orders and operational requirements.
* Recognise problems and make decisions to help resolve them, effectively communicating serious issues to the Director of Operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams, training, mentoring, cleaning and excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Willingness to accept the most effective role while leading the team with integrity.
* Act as an ambassador for Raging Waters Sydney, enforcing policies and standard operating procedures.
* Support park presentation operations through administration and overall cleanliness management.
* Manage team members where responsibilities include resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, rostering, performance management and conducting reviews.
* To assist recruiting, training, developing and mentoring team members.
* Set service standards for the Park Presentation team and monitor delivery of relevant training.
* Coordinate staffing levels on operational days and non-operational days.
* Review, check accuracy and process team member timekeeping.
* Ensure overall park cleanliness meets health and safety standards and departmental expectations.
* Assist in policy development, implementation, delivery and review to meet obligations.
* Follow environmental policies regarding chemical usage and waste disposal.
* Establish systems, processes and practices for team members to perform their roles effectively.
Park Presentation Coordinators must be physically fit and able to handle manual duties like lifting, carrying, bending and twisting. They should also be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays during peak season.
