Centacare South West NSW is excited to invite a passionate Counsellor/Case Worker ready to make real impact. Driving innovative work in responding to child sexual abuse, and supporting children who have displayed harmful sexual behaviours, you will support children, and young people, through trauma-informed counselling, case management, and advocacy.
The role includes early intervention for children under 10 displaying harmful sexualised behaviours, providing support and guidance with care, confidence, and compassion, whilst creating empowerment.

* A passion for supporting children, adolescents, & their families.

* Excellent relationship-building & communication skills.
* Experience in delivering trauma-informed therapeutic support to victim-survivors of sexual assault and their non-offending families or carers.
* The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Skilled in assessing and supporting children displaying harmful sexualised behaviours.
Essential Qualifications & Checks:
* Relevant Tertiary qualifications such as Community Services/Health, Counselling, Social Work, Social Sciences, or a related field, and demonstrate experience in practicing in Sexual Assault support, family Violence or equivalent fields.
* Current Working with Children Check & National Police Check.
