About the office The International Office drives progress against strategic objectives to increase international student enrolment, partnerships and mobility. About the role The role is to process and evaluate a range of applications lodged to the Office by students and agents by providing a high level of customer service, in responding to enquiries in a timely manner by offering sound advice and assistance to agents, applicants on gaining admissions to the University. The International Admissions Officer is critical in supporting the achievement of the International Offices Recruitment targets by providing support to the Manager International Recruitment and Admissions in servicing prospective students and agents. Responsibilities Assessing international student applications for admission to study at the University of Notre Dame Australia Entry of appropriate student details on PeopleSoft and electronically file students documents in the system. Preparation of letters of offer and electronic confirmation of enrolment ( eCOE’s ). Follow-up the processing of applications with faculties/schools and organise any additional information which may be required for a decision to be made including accurate information on the comparability of education systems in other markets. Qualifications, skills & experience Relevant Degree qualification(s) or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training. Demonstrated experience in International Admissions with a sound understanding of the ESOS Act and National Code. working Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills, combined with strengths in the use of initiative and approach to problem solving.
