An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and driven Sales Manager, based in our Melbourne Head Office, to join Australia's only International Hotel company.
About the role:
The key focus of this role will be to develop and enhance business opportunities into Quincy Hotel Melbourne, Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands, Destination Pentridge and the wider TFE Hotels portfolio, achieving set revenue targets and source new business for our hotels.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales VIC/TAS, as the Sales Manager, you have relationship-building down to a fine art You're a people person and others gravitate towards you. You're commercially savvy, you know who's who in your allocated market and how to foster relationships and engage with the right stakeholders. You have a hunger to drive sales, achieve KPI's and revenue targets.
Key responsibilities:
* Generate sales and revenue to increase the hotel's occupancy and profitability
* Build Client Relationships
* Create and implement sales strategies to attract different key clients
* Track sales data, analyse performance, and adjust strategies to meet sales targets
* Stay informed by keep up to date on market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
About you:
* 3+ years' relevant experience in a hotel sales management role.
* Available to work Monday to Friday in an office environment
* Previous experience in developing business and increasing sales.
* Robust understanding of proactive sales techniques and market trends (essential)
* Strong commercial acumen (financial and sales budgets)
* Demonstrated experience working with and exceeding KPI's.
* Exceptional time management, and the ability to multitask.
* High level attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective verbal and written communication
* Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and exposure to sales software
* Australian Licence and own reliable car.
* Permanent unrestricted working rights in Australia
