Spatial Services, a division of the Department of Customer Service is the key provider of spatial land information services in New South Wales.
Spatial Services' integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive package of land and property services including property information, surveying and mapping.
Spatial Services' provides land information services to individuals, businesses, government agencies and non-profit organisations throughout NSW, Australia and internationally.
About the role
As the Manager Survey Transformation, you will lead a team of technical specialists to deliver digitaltransformation across critical survey systems and processes in NSW. You will manage the development,enhancement, and maintenance of applications supporting survey operations—including the survey controlnetwork, State Adjustment, and CORSnet-NSW positioning network.
This role blends technical leadership, strategic program delivery, and stakeholder engagement to driveinnovation and ensure nationally compatible surveying infrastructure for NSW.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Senior level experience leading and managing a multidisciplined team
* Demonstrated experience as a surveyor at a senior level with knowledge of cadastral, geodetic surveying and current positioning technologies
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* The ability to be flexible and adaptable to both a changing environment as well as priorities
* The ability to solve problems and collaborate with others toward a common vision
* A tertiary qualification or relevant experience in computer programming/coding is desirable
Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $145,378 base plus superannuation
