About the Role
Our client is seeking a ready made Plumbing Estimator.
You will work closely with the Senior Estimating and Project Management team to help prepare accurate and competitive plumbing tenders.
Project tenders will include sectors such as Commercial, Industrial and Civil eg.
schools, hospitals and apartments (no residential).
This is a full-time office based role.
Tasks and Responsibilties
* Review project plans, specs, and documentation
* Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
* Support senior estimators with tender submissions
* Maintain estimating database and documentation
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in the same or similar role in the plumbing or construction industry
* A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork
* Eagerness to learn and grow within the estimating field
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic estimating software (or willingness to learn)
* SimPro experience
