Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with IT colleagues to provide daily operational support and ensure seamless network performance.
* Work closely with internal SMEs and external vendors to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure that meets business requirements.
* Provide specialist network advice and technical project services to support key business projects and drive business growth.
* Perform proactive maintenance across all systems to ensure they are up-to-date, stable, and secure.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert guidance on network-related matters.
* Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver customer solutions and meet business objectives.
* Participate in on-call support rotation to ensure prompt response to network issues and minimize downtime.
Required Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should have more than 4 years of experience in large corporate enterprise networks, encompassing the following areas:
* Cisco enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless networking.
* Network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds.
* Next Generation Firewalls, including Cisco and Palo Alto devices.
* Enterprise wireless networking, including Aruba Networks.
* Network automation tools, such as Cisco DNA Centre.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams and Poly Video Conferencing solutions.
* Experience with Enterprise Voice and Call Centre technologies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Network, Telecommunications, or Information Technology, or a combination of education and related experience.
* Cisco CCNP or equivalent vendor certifications.
* ITIL certification is highly desirable.
