Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising a team up to 10 workers.
* Co-ordinate with the management team to ensure all personnel are working safely.
* Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing when required.
* Collaborate with the Department Managers and project teams to ensure alignment on budgets and timelines.
About you:
* Ability to supervise a multi-disciplinary workforce (electrical and civil works).
* Electrical supervision background within the mining industry essential.
* Ensure maintenance and installation works meet Australian Standards and mine specifications
* Demonstrated understanding of industrial works.
* Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
* Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation.
* Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
* Computer literacy skills using MS packages including Excel & Projects.
* Conduct toolbox talks, JSAs, and risk assessments.
* High attention to detail with a hands-on approach.
Requirements:
* Valid NT and/or QLD Electrical Licence
* Manual drivers licence (without any restrictions)
* G189 & G2 Supervision Certificate
* Current Provide First Aid & CPR/LVR Certificate
* High Risk Licence - WP
* Confined Spaces Certificate (valid for 3 years)
* Working at Heights Certificate (valid for 3 years)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
* Ability to undergo a National Police Clearance
* Termination qualifications (desirable)
