Associated Veterinary Group (AVG) is a privately owned network of veterinary hospitals across Western Australia. Over the past 2 years, we've grown to nine clinics and will continue to expand in a considered and community-focused way.
We operate in a workforce-short environment where demand for veterinarians and qualified veterinary nurses exceeds supply. Building and maintaining talent pipelines is central to our mission to support local communities by delivering quality veterinary care for our customers and their beloved pets.
Due to our continued growth, we have created a stand-alone part-time Talent & Workforce Coordinator to support recruitment, workforce planning and locum coordination across our clinics.
About the Role
This role supports the full employee lifecycle from sourcing and selection through to onboarding and offboarding (including exit surveys or interviews to inform workforce planning and retention).
Guiding and supporting the Practice Managers and leadership group on the best strategy to meet their recruitment needs, including:
Drafting and posting job adverts
Sourcing and screening candidates
Coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication
Prepare contracts and onboarding documentation
Support credentialing, compliance and documentation
The role will also involve managing our locum pool across multiple clinics, ensuring our locums feel supported and remain engaged in supporting our business.
