About You:
Already possessing many years of integration and development experience, this Mulesoft Development Lead role will challenge you to fully utilise your MuleSoft, project, and leadership skills. Working alongside our own team and being embedded within our major clients, you will help them build MuleSoft capability from the ground up. You will lead a blended DWS & client development team hands‑on, and apply your experience to guide our clients through the design, development, and implementation of new MuleSoft solutions.
Daily interaction with business stakeholders and customers will be a key part of your role. Understanding user needs and requirements, and tailoring systems to meet these specifications, will be essential to your success.
Core Duties:
Build MuleSoft capability from the ground up: Stand up new integration capabilities from a blank slate by defining foundational standards, delivery frameworks, development practices, and reusable assets, enabling clients to establish a fully functioning MuleSoft practice from inception.
Designing and developing MuleSoft applications: This includes understanding the business requirements, designing the application architecture, and developing the MuleSoft code.
Integrating MuleSoft applications with other systems: This involves using MuleSoft connectors to connect to different systems, such as databases, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
Testing and debugging MuleSoft applications: This includes unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Maintaining and supporting MuleSoft applications: This includes fixing bugs, adding new features, and responding to user support requests.
Providing technical assistance to users and customers: This includes answering questions about MuleSoft, helping users troubleshoot problems, and providing training.
Working with MuleSoft architects to design and implement MuleSoft solutions: This involves working with architects to understand the business requirements, design the solution architecture, and implement the solution.
Desirable additional skills:
MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD - Level 1 or Level 2)
Experience with other programming languages such as Java, Python
Experience with other integration platforms, such as Salesforce, Document Management System, Event stream (MQ, SQS, Service Bus), databases
Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS / Azure / GCP
Experience with Agile development methodologies
