We are now seeking General Practitioners to join our innovative Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) in Richmond, providing urgent non-emergency care to reduce pressure on hospital emergency departments.
Location: Richmond VIC
Hours: 7 days a week, 8am–10pm (AM & PM shifts available)
Employment Type: Medical Practitioners Award **** (Individual Flexibility Arrangement)
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care for non-life-threatening conditions, supporting timely patient treatment and connecting patients to our extensive in-house health services.

About You
Unrestricted VR GP with AHPRA registration
Medical indemnity
WWC Check
Police Check / International Police Check
Emergency patient assessment experience (paediatric and adult)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds

Key Responsibilities
As a GP in this facility you will provide a high level of urgent clinical care to a wide range of patients/clients.
You'll be working within an appropriately equipped consulting space alongside experienced Division 1 RNs to provide high-quality assessment and care.
Undertake full face-to-face assessments (including ECG) of patients with acute injury or illness, including adult and paediatric patients
Take a thorough clinical patient history and document in medical software
Provide referral back to the patient's GP for ongoing management with written discharge within 48 hours following the management of immediate illness
Contact local Emergency Departments to discuss and escalations as necessary
Provide patients with clear guidance on what to do should symptoms worsen or further advice become necessary
