DAIRY HERD MANAGER 2IC \ DAIRY FARM HAND
We are seeking an experienced Herd manager / 2IC and also Dairy farm hand to join our family owned dairy farming business located in Tamworth NSW.
The farm is located 14kms from Tamworth, close to schools & bus stop at the front gate for High School & Primary School.
The 1000 acre property includes pivots & Lateral Irrigation system. We milk our cows twice a day & take pride in the health & well being of our herd.
The farm has a moderrn 20 aside herringbone dairy with cup removers, autodraft & automic heat detection system.
We are currently milking 400 Holstein & Jersey cows on a partial TMR system.
The postion is full time, we work on a 10 roster 4 days off with every second weekend off.
Duties will include:
* 3 Bedroom house available on farm.
* Experience in dairy industry essential, experience in management role or 2ic role highly desirable.
* Current Drivers Licence is essential.
