The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to take ownership of sales performance and drive the next phase of growth. This role leads both internal sales staff and external sales representatives and is accountable for delivering revenue, margin, and market expansion.
This is not a sit-back management role — you will be expected to lead from the front, drive standards, and push performance.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Owning and delivering sales targets across the business
* Driving performance of internal sales and external reps with clear accountability
* Winning new business and expanding market share in the trade and construction sectors
* Building strong relationships with key builders, contractors, and trade customers
* Identifying gaps, opportunities, and underperformance — and acting on them
* Aligning closely with operations and procurement to maximise margin and service outcomes
What We’re Looking For
* Proven Sales Manager or senior sales leader with a track record of delivering results
* Strong experience in timber, hardware, or building supplies (highly regarded)
* Deep understanding of trade customers and how to win and retain their business
* A leader who sets standards, holds people accountable, and lifts team performance
* Commercially sharp with a strong focus on margin, not just volume
* Confident, direct communicator who can influence and close
* Systems capable (CRM, Excel, ERP) and data-driven in decision making
