Our client is looking for a skilled, experienced and qualified retail buyer to join their company. As a retail buyer you will be responsible for selecting and purchasing the goods, then planning and organizing the resale.
Your tasks will include:
-monitoring sales and stock levels
-study trade and markets, keeping up to date with changing market conditions
-negotiate price, and purchase goods from suppliers
-implement and introduce promotion schemes
-establish budgetary requirements
-anticipate consumer trends and make adjustments to sales strategies
-AQF Certificate III Or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
You will be required to have:
-good communication skills
-problem solving skills
-interpersonal and social skills
-good understanding of customer behavior
You will be paid between 75k-85k + superannuation p.a.
