About the Role
Aramex Port Macquarie has an exciting opportunity for a Courier Driver (Contractor) to join our team. As a contract courier driver, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of parcels and packages throughout the local area. This is a fast-paced role that requires a strong customer service focus and reliable transportation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Safely operate a delivery van to transport and deliver parcels and packages to customers
* Ensure all deliveries are completed within agreed timelines
* Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers as needed
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
* Adhere to all road rules and safety regulations
* Assist with loading and unloading the delivery van as required
To be successful in this role:
* A current unrestricted driver's licence and mid to large van (required)
* Personal ACN and insurances (required)
* Personal Smart phone with data for route app
* Full working rights in Australia
* A current Police check (or willing to obtain one)
* Availability to work 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)
* Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Knowledge of the local area
* Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar delivery role
