This role requires an experienced Aircraft Engineer to support the development, review and maintenance of aircraft maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications in mechanical, structures or avionics disciplines and a minimum of three years experience as a trade-qualified Aircraft Engineer.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our team by ensuring compliance with DASR regulations and providing technical input to maintain aircraft fleet configurations. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent reviews and validation of engineering documentation, planning and executing engineering tasks with minimal supervision and liaising with internal representatives regarding matters of airworthiness, safety and maintenance.
* Develop and implement aircraft maintenance programs using systems such as CAMM2;
* Conduct independent reviews and validation of E&TS documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy;
* Plan and execute engineering tasks with minimal supervision, exercising independent professional judgment;
* Provide technical input to maintain aircraft fleet configurations and associated technical documentation;
* Liaise with internal E&TS representatives regarding matters of airworthiness, safety and maintenance;
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A trade qualification in mechanical, structures or avionics disciplines (Defence);
* A minimum of three years' experience as a trade-qualified Aircraft Engineer in the aviation industry;
* Demonstrated technical experience in the aviation sector, including support to AMP or CAM services;
* Proven ability to perform engineering tasks with limited direction and to exercise sound professional judgment;
* Eligibility to obtain or currently hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
