About the role Excellent permanent opportunity for a motivated and proactive Key Account Manager to join the SunRice Group in Sydney. As a key member of the Pet Sales team you will oversee the independent Pet business, ensuring ranging, sales, profit and market share targets are met. You will work alongside National Account Manager to help manage co-man business as well as own brands across various market channels through the implementation of the activity / range plan. Key responsibilities include: Achieve budgeted sales volumes, profit and market share as per agreed targets in assigned portfolio. Develop, build and maintain new business. Work closely with NAM to build and maintain strong long-term relationship with existing key customers. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and ensure accuracy by SKU. Provide promotional, sales and trade spend tracking analysis. Monitor and analyse performance metrics, suggesting improvements as needed. Develop strong and effective external relationships with Promotions Managers, Buyers, and Category Managers. Build a strong business relationship with each relevant internal department (NPD / Marketing / Finance / Field team) to optimise the Business Plans for your customer. Ensure marketing activities are leveraged, and promotions are integrated for success. About You You have commercial acumen; results driven and thrive in a sales environment. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a wider team achieving goals and driving growth in your portfolio. Building strong customer and stakeholder relationships comes to you naturally! You will also have: Tertiary qualification in Business / Commerce or similar. Previous experience in account management or similar with an FMCG business / Pet. In depth understanding of Specialty Pet Retail, Grocery Retail or On-Line Pet customers and how to apply this knowledge to account specific activities and tasks. Proven experience in managing full P&L; delivering results against budget & forecast in Volume, NSV, GP and Trade Spend. Team player with the ability to build strong relationship within the ANZ business and externally. Effectively manage stakeholder requirements and influence outcomes. Be willing to learn how to work with various client portals if not already familiar with. Proven ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment. Key Perks Include!
