Were offering a temporary 6-month Assistant Service Manager opportunity in the Launceston area ideal for an educator or leader ready to step up and make a meaningful impact while developing their leadership skills.
About the Opportunity
This is a temporary internal role (6 months) designed to support a service in the Launceston region during a period of transition.
Youll work closely with Service Managers the Regional Manager and our Pedagogy & Practice team to ensure continuity of quality education and care while strengthening leadership capacity across the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity to :

* Support educators and teams to deliver high-quality programs under the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Contribute to service operations compliance and continuous improvement.
* Act as Responsible Person when required.
The Role
As Assistant Service Manager you will support the Service Manager and Regional Manager to lead day-to-day operations and pedagogy within the service. With support from our Pedagogy & Practice team youll play an important role as Educational Leader guiding curriculum planning supporting educators and fostering innovative practice.
This role is an excellent opportunity to step into a formal leadership position and grow your career with responsibilities including :
* Leading high-quality educational programs informed by the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Supporting and mentoring educators to achieve their best practice.
* Assisting with service operations rosters enrolments and compliance.
* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Acting as Responsible Person when required .
What youll bring :
* A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
* Strong knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.
* Experience supporting or leading a team with a collaborative and reflective approach.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A passion for inclusion safety and child-centred practice.
