The Role

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our PMO Practice at Quorum, based in
Sydney, Brisbane,
OR
Melbourne
.

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of Microsoft-related projects across our Professional Services engagements. Acting as the primary point of contact for the customer, you'll lead the coordination of internal and external teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure each engagement delivers on its intended outcomes, on-time and on-budget.

You'll work closely with Engineers, Consultants, Account Managers, and other stakeholders to keep everyone aligned throughout the lifecycle of a project. This includes running project kick-offs, tracking progress, managing risks and scope changes, and holding regular project meetings with clear follow-ups and reporting.

Project Managers at Quorum bring structure, clarity, and consistency to the delivery experience. Success in this role relies heavily on outstanding communication and time management. You'll need to convey information clearly, keep projects moving forward, and balance multiple competing priorities without losing sight of the big picture. The ability to bring structure and clarity to fast-moving or complex situations is essential.

This role reports to the Practice Manager – Project Management and works alongside a supportive team of Senior Project Managers and Program Managers. While the position has no direct reports, you'll benefit from structured training, mentoring, and a clear development pathway within the PMO.

What are we looking for

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a structured mindset, a calm and pragmatic approach, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes. You'll bring experience managing Microsoft-based projects within a Professional Services environment and have the confidence to take ownership of engagements from start to finish.

Communication and time management are absolutely critical in this role. You'll need to be an exceptional communicator – clear, concise, and able to adapt your message for a range of stakeholders. You'll also be naturally organised, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple projects without losing focus or momentum.

At Quorum, we place a great deal of emphasis on Emotional Intelligence. You'll approach challenges with curiosity, think critically under pressure, and bring a professional and considered presence to every interaction. You'll also be someone who values process, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys working collaboratively to get things done.

This role suits someone who is dependable, resilient, and solutions-focused – someone who can confidently lead the delivery of complex engagements while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external teams, ensuring deadlines, service levels, and expectations are consistently met.

Role Requirements:

* Experience & Expertise
– Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Project Management, including at least 2 years delivering Microsoft-related projects within a Professional Services environment. Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in the mid-market enterprise space, with a solid understanding of project lifecycles, scopes, and customer engagement models.
* Project Delivery & Methodology
– Proficient in formal project delivery frameworks such as Prince2 and Agile. Able to manage budgets, timelines, risks, and resource allocation while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Skilled at running kick-offs, weekly meetings, and structured wrap-ups with clear documentation throughout.
* Communication & Time Management
– Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Able to manage competing priorities, maintain momentum across multiple engagements, and keep stakeholders informed at every stage.
* Microsoft Project Experience
– Experience with projects involving technologies that we deliver with our solutions at Quorum, such as Microsoft Intune, Sentinel, Azure, Identity, and Purview will be looked upon very favourably. Confident working with internal teams including Technical Consultants and Customer Success Managers to align technical delivery with customer goals.
* Process & Attention to Detail
– Process-driven and highly organised, with a consistent approach to documentation, project governance, and internal reporting. Able to identify gaps and contribute to the continual improvement of delivery frameworks and PMO processes.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
– Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. Able to build trusted relationships, manage expectations, and maintain strong engagement throughout the delivery process.
* Professionalism & Integrity
– Calm under pressure and confident in high-stakes delivery environments. Committed to doing the right thing, supporting others, and upholding the values of transparency, accountability, and professionalism that underpin how we operate at Quorum.
