Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and expedite open and aged purchase orders in SAP, prioritising critical operational requirements
* Proactively liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve delays
* Escalate high-risk supply issues to minimise operational disruption
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date PO data within SAP
* Manage closure of aged and obsolete POs in line with Delegations of Authority
* Partner with Maintenance, Operations and Inventory to support shutdowns and critical work
* Provide regular reporting on expediting metrics and delivery risks
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance and audit requirements
* Maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
* Promote safe work practices and compliance with safety and environmental standards
About You:
* Experience in purchasing, supply chain or inventory control (2+ years preferred)
* ERP system experience (SAP preferred), high computer literacy and exposure to supplier follow-up or order tracking
* Strong attention to detail for PO data (Dates, Quantities, Addresses, etc.) accuracy
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Sound organisational skills to manage multiple priorities
* Basic negotiation for delivery dates within DOA limits
* Drivers Licence
