We're seeking passionate graduates who want to make a real difference in the lives of those they treat. Our 1-year Graduate Program is designed for ambitious individuals who share our passion for making therapy a fun, engaging and meaningful experience for families.
As a graduate occupational therapist, you'll work with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, collaborating on treatment plans and sharing knowledge to contribute to a holistic care approach for our clients. You'll be mentored by experienced clinicians, delivering therapy in well-equipped clinics, at client's homes, schools and via telehealth.
* Help children achieve their development milestones such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to help play, school or independent skills (e.g. throwing a ball, getting dressed, holding a pencil or utensil)
* Educate and involve parents, carers and others to facilitate the development and learning of children
* Help children with developmental delays learn everyday tasks (such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing their teeth and feeding themselves)
* Help children with behavioural issues maintain positive behaviours in all environments (e.g. instead of hitting others and acting out, using positive ways to deal with anger such as writing about feelings or participating in physical activity)

We're looking for a team of graduates who are ready to collaborate and bring fresh ideas to the wider team. Your ability to communicate effectively, coupled with a keen eye for detail and core time management skills, will allow you to thrive in this role.
Required qualifications include a degree in Occupational Therapy, eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduating and a full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third party insurance. You'll also need to hold a valid Working with Children Check, a current Police Check and a NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
