The Mine
This site is a large underground hard rock mine located in Northern Queensland.
- Lengthy LOM with a strong production outlook

- 45-minute bus ride from airport to mine site

FIFO From Brisbane or Townsville
For those keen to secure a long-term role on an 8:6 roster with FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville, the site offers the following benefits;
- FIFO from Brisbane - travel 100% in company time
- Tuesday to Tuesday roster (6am from Brisbane to site, back in Brisbane at 5pm the following Tuesday)
- FIFO via charter however take advantage of accumulating Virgin velocity points
Camp, meals and facilities

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer you will enjoy working in a team of experienced underground mining professionals. Your duties will include (based on your skills et and experience);-
- Drill and blast design
- Production engineering duties working UG with shift bosses and operators
- Planning and scheduling
- Short term, medium term of long-term planning
With a range of skills in demand at site this is a great opportunity for someone with UG mining experience to grow and develop their career in either D&B;, production, planning or scheduling disciplines.
Your Value
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or similar mining related qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months recent UG hard rock mining experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong long-lasting relationships on site
- Experience with mining software such as Deswick
