Job Description:
* Identify, assess and pursue new opportunities in Defence & Government and Commercial markets, including adjacent emerging sectors.
* Lead strategic growth initiatives across Indo-Pacific nations including Australia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
* Represent the business at international trade shows, industry forums and government meetings, generating leads and converting high-value opportunities.
* Manage and coordinate cross-functional bid and proposal development, delivering client-focused, commercially sound solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government representatives, consultants and industry stakeholders to support market entry and expansion.
* Develop and implement outreach strategies, strategic partnerships, and supply chain networks.
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends, producing regular insights and reports in collaboration with marketing teams.
* Provide key support to global operations, including collaboration with U.S.-based teams where required.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Over 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership within defence, shipbuilding or maritime sectors.
* Proven track record in developing technology-driven commercial strategies across regulated environments.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Deep understanding of Indo-Pacific defence and commercial maritime markets.
* Experience leading high-value proposals and winning bids in complex, multi-stakeholder settings.
* Strong ability to interpret client needs, pricing dynamics, and market behaviours to drive win strategies.
* Demonstrated success building government and industry relationships to support long-term growth.
