**About the Role**
You will report to the Education and Vocational Training Manager and will be responsible for facilitating the training of prisoners in the area of Art techniques. You will deliver scheduled teaching and training and communicate with external stakeholders relevant to the development, management and completion of training.
You will also be responsible for the development of new assessment tools mapped to accredited curricula and training that enables continual improvement within the team. Your ability to work closely with other education facilitators is essential.
**About You**
You are an experienced facilitator with a passion for facilitating training to learners with multiple barriers to learning. You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and have an ability to motivate those around you. Working in a team environment is second nature to you, however you are self-motivated and have the ability to drive your own workload and prioritise your tasks. Attention to detail is one of your priorities and you ensure everything you complete is accurate. You are a respectful and skilled person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or sufficient to meet Schedule 1 in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations, or have the ability to complete within six months of start date.
- Tertiary Teaching qualification
- Demonstrated artistic experience
- Open and adaptive to innovation and change.
- Ability to set and achieve professional goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a work team and more broadly within a wider organisation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with varied stakeholders
