**Position Information**:
Rooty Hill High School is a co-educational, comprehensive school in western Sydney with a current enrolment of 1100 students from Years 7-12. Over 50% of the students enrolled are from a non-English speaking background, including a large number of families from Asia and the Pacific. There is a significant enrolment of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students (over 5%). The school is committed to promoting its cultural and linguistic diversity and has strong academic and socio-cultural platforms that are enhanced by a broad academic curriculum, a strong vocational program and the opportunity for students to participate in a wide range of activities. The Mathematics faculty is responsible for the teaching and assessment of Stages 4, 5 and 6 Mathematics.
**Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach MTH - Mathematics (Years 7-10) and MSH - Mathematics (Years 11-12).
- Capacity to work individually and with colleagues to plan and implement well-structured learning and teaching programs that engage students to promote learning.
- Capacity to establish and implement inclusive and positive interactions to engage and support all students in classroom activities.
