About the role We are seeking a NV2, Deputy Architect to lead the technical aspects of the project in delivering the agreed scope of works within the governance framework.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Management of technical development priorities for new Gateway design and implementation Development and responsibility for technical documentation of the solution and solution environment Ensuring delivery of key development outcomes and support & maintenance & reporting requirements of the in-service system Works with internal and external teams in the development of architectures for the complex gateway solutions Stakeholder management (internal and external stakeholders) Manage requirements and the alignment of the solution with industry and military frameworks/standards Leads the development of technology roadmaps for the project and assistance to other projects and programmes where required for improved corporate outcomes Experience: Secure Gateway Design in accordance with ACSC Government guidance Gateway Architecture and Design in secure environments Data Centre Architecture – Network, Compute, Storage and Network Services Multi Data Centre networking (specifically Disaster Recovery, failover and failback network design) Network Engineering (Cisco Enterprise Networking including WAN, Datacentre, Software Defined Networking (SDN)) Practitioner level implementation of Industry and military frameworks (DoDAF, TOGAF) Network and Security Design Highly Desirable: Working level knowledge of vendor IT Infrastructure technologies (Hardware and Software – Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, RHEL) Knowledge of VMware NSX-T multi datacentre networking Working level knowledge of Firewalls, proxies and DMZ Disaster Recovery and active-active data centre Management network design and management tools A background in programming and infrastructure-as-code/orchestration/automation Solid foundation of Firewall rulesets Windows Server 2016/2019 (working knowledge) NV2 Why Fujitsu?
