About the Opportunity We are partnering with a respected government department to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for their Robina office. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate financial processing across a high-volume environment. Working within an established AP team and reporting to a supportive Finance Manager, you’ll assist with invoice processing, payment integrity, reconciliations and supplier liaison. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, process-driven setting and enjoys working with clear guidelines and policies. This contract offers the chance to strengthen your government experience while contributing to efficient service delivery. Key Duties Accurately process a large number of invoices and payment requests. Match and validate purchase orders, escalating discrepancies when required. Respond to internal and external queries in a timely, professional manner. Complete account reconciliations and track outstanding items. Ensure all processing complies with financial and procurement frameworks within SAP. About You Previous experience in accounts payable, ideally in a high-volume or complex environment. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial processing. Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships. Experience using SAP or similar financial systems (highly regarded). What’s on Offer? Contract through to 19 April, with potential to extend. $50.37/hour superannuation.
