* 8, or 12 hour shifts - no on-call
* Full time role - Monday to Friday with occasional weekends

About the role
Brisbane Private Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Registered/Clinical Nurse, with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established General Surgical & Paediatric unit on a full time basis.
We are a 32 bed, fast paced, high turnover ward specialising in ENT/Orthopaedics/Plastics and Paediatrics (both adult and paeds), along with other general surgical specialities. Having many surgical specialities, this is an ideal role for a surgical nurse wanting to use and grow their skills.
As a Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include:
o Adhering to ACORN standards and Hospital policy and procedure
o Providing evidenced based nursing care
o Providing clinical expertise and depth to the plastics theatre teams
o Liaising with the multidisciplinary team
o Ensuring patient and staff safety
o Ensuring eLearning and mandatory training is completed on a regular basis
o Liaising with surgeons regarding equipment
o Minimum 5 years acute hospital experience as a Registered/Clinical Nurse
o Current Registration with AHPRA
o Commitment to Quality Patient Care
o Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
o Excellent communication and customer service skills
o Works well independently and within a team
