Roster and Travel
This is a residential position where you'll be home every night. You must live within 40 minutes of site.
* Day shift only
* Drive in each day with company ute.
Mine site
You will be Joining a large open cut coal mine site in the Hunter region.
* Join an established client maintenance team with many years of experience on site
* Enjoy excellent workshop facilities
* Strong availability for spare parts (working for the OEM)
The role
As a product support advisor (PSA) on site, you will be responsible for trouble shooting faults, offering advice and training to trades on site as well as occasion work on the tools:
* Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and repair OEM machinery
* Provide technical support to the trades and managers on site.
* Assist with machine audits/inspections
* Facilitation of coaching and mentoring of site technical staff.
* Assist in root cause failure analysis.
Your value
You will have come from a background within the mining industry and have extensive experience working on a range of surface drills and coal mining machinery.
* At least 4 years hands on tools experience as a diesel fitter
* Excellent diagnostics skills and ability to first response problem solve
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop strong relationships at site
* Ability to work autonomously and plan your days for maximum efficiency
* Excellent attitude towards work and safety
