Offer description

Take your Admin career to the next level – become a Business Operations Officer with CP Group Tasmania

Hobart, TAS

Are you organised, proactive, and ready to be the backbone of a growing Tasmanian business?

At CP Group Tasmania, we're not just a head contractor — we're a fast-growing, Tasmanian-owned multi-trade company delivering high-quality maintenance, insurance repair, and construction services across the state. Our in-house team includes qualified carpenters, electricians, plumbers, floor layers, supervisors and admin professionals, supported by a trusted network of subcontractors. Backed by strong systems and a clear commitment to quality and social outcomes, we've built a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and doing things the right way.

We're now looking for a motivated Business Operations Officer to join our office team and play a key role in keeping projects on track and clients well supported.

What you'll do:

· Schedule internal trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to client standards

· Liaise with clients, tenants, and subcontractors by phone and through our job management systems, keeping clear and professional communication records

· Manage invoicing of work orders and claims, ensuring accuracy against contracted quantities and compliance with client agreements

· Perform accurate data entry, maintain records, and manage documents across multiple systems

· Provide administrative support to both field and office teams, including scheduling, reporting, and compliance paperwork

· Work with Simpro and Prime Eco System job management platforms to support scheduling, reporting, and workflow management.

· Challenge yourself and the team by bringing fresh ideas and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, ensuring CP Group stays ahead of the competition

Why you'll love working with us:

· Career progression: We don't just fill roles – we help you build a career. Whether you want to upskill, specialise, or take on leadership, we'll support your goals

· Team culture: Join a supportive crew that celebrates wins and has each other's backs

· Modern tools & systems: Work smarter with industry-leading technology and processes

· Company laptop and uniform provided

· Paid Birthday Leave (yes really) – Take the day off and still get paid

· Competitive salary around $80,000 + super (negotiable with experience)

To be considered, you'll need:

· Good communication and computer skills

· Reliable transport

· A valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

· A valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (or willingness to obtain)

· Experience with Simpro and Xero (or similar job management software) is a bonus – but not essential

What we're looking for:

We're after someone who is not only organised and detail-oriented, but also confident enough to challenge themselves and others to improve how we work as a team. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and takes pride in getting the details right while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Ready to build your future with us?

If you're looking for more than just a job and want to be part of a company that genuinely invests in its people, Apply now and take the next step in your career with a company that values people, performance, and continuous improvement.
