We're seeking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team asManager Strategic Partnerships. This is a high-impact role responsible for building and nurturing trusted, multi-level client relationships across a portfolio of major accounts. You will act as abrand ambassadorfor Compass Group, driving retention, growth, and long-term client advocacy.
THE POSITION
This role is all about building powerful, long-term partnerships that drive client success and business growth. As theManager Strategic Partnerships, you will be the key link between Compass Group and our most valued clients, acting as a trusted advisor, strategic thinker, and brand ambassador.
You'll lead a portfolio of high-value accounts, working across all levels of client organisations to deliver tailored solutions, pre-emptive retention strategies, and meaningful engagement. Your ability to communicate with influence, navigate complexity, and foster trust will be critical to ensuring our clients remain advocates for Compass Group well into the future.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of up to40 strategic accountswith revenue responsibility between$200M–$800M
- Develop and executepre-emptive retention strategiesto avoid tenders and protect margins
- Build and maintainmulti-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Facilitateclient strategy workshopsand internal alignment sessions
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Compass Group to deliver client-focused solutions
- Monitor market and competitor trends to inform growth and retention strategies
THE PERSON
- 8+ years' experiencein B2B client relationship management, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales
- Proven success inlong-term relationship buildingwith senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with experience inrisk assessment and financial forecasting
- Deep understanding of theAustralian food and facilities management industry
- Ability toinfluence and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- High-level literacy and numeracy
