The role is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating learning strategies to enhance the skills of nursing and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct annual education needs analysis to identify specific learning requirements for each department.
* Develop educational activities that meet the needs and expectations of customers.
* Maintain current knowledge of best practice in nursing and healthcare.
* Coordinate the development of evidence-based educational activities to meet quality initiatives.
* Lead and manage the education team to achieve budget targets.
* Provide training and education to ensure staff compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Requirements:
* Registration with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
* Minimum Certificate 3 in Training and Assessment.
* Experience in leadership roles.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices.
* Good computer literacy and reporting skills.
