In this hands-on role, you'll take charge of meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and dining room standards, making sure every plate served is fresh, safe, and satisfying.
Why You'll Love Life at Ingenia We believe work should be rewarding, flexible, and full of perks: Staff discounts on Ingenia Holiday Parks, with savings that can go beyond 50% Employee referral, employee of the month, and employee of the year rewards Flexible work schedules to suit your lifestyle Retailer discounts In this Role, You'll Lead meal preparation, ordering, and kitchen stock management while maintaining high food quality and minimising waste Oversee food safety compliance as the site's Food Safety Supervisor, including temperature checks and documentation Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, dining area, and community spaces to meet health standards Build positive relationships with residents and team members, always showing care, empathy, and professionalism Follow WHS procedures, complete training, and safely handle chemicals and equipment in line with safety guidelines You're Likely a Match If You Are certified in Food Safety Supervisor and know your way around HACCP guidelines Hold a valid 'C' class driver's licence Have experience in cooking and serving buffet-style meals, with a basic understanding of budgeting and cost control Are friendly, caring, and confident with great communication skills and a team-first attitude Are organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle feedback professionally and positively Are physically fit and comfortable with hands-on kitchen work, including lifting, cleaning, and using PPE You're someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
