As a **Disability Day Service Practitioner (Adventure),** you will work within a variety of teams as well as independently to support our clients. You will deliver specialised outdoor recreation activities for groups and individuals whilst assisting to support our clients to achieve their personal goals and growth.
Areas of the program include cycling, wilderness education, surfing, canoeing, camps and other special events
**This role is based in Geelong with casual & part-time positions available.**
**About You**:
- Our ideal _**_Disability Day Service Practitioner (Adventure)_**_ will: _
- Have a wide range of skills in various sports-related activities
- Have proven knowledge and experience in delivering outdoor activities
- Have an ability to lead outdoor day trips
- Have a commitment to the rights of people with disabilities
- You will need:_
- Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Disability, Youth Work or equivalent
- First Aid Level II
- Current Victorian driver's licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- All applicants for this role must fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccinations during the recruitment process
