Front Desk Representative Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional representative to handle front desk operations at our hotel.
* Responsibilities:
1. Communication and Switchboard Operations: Efficiently facilitate communications for guests and employees, as well as external communications. Confidently operate switchboards, paging systems, and associated computer equipment according to established procedures.
2. Guest Services: Handle wake-up calls with accuracy, whether they be programmed or personal. Be fully knowledgeable about hotel products and services to handle guest inquiries efficiently and courteously.
3. Log Requests and Follow-Up Actions: Log all requests and ensure that required follow-up actions occur within 15 minutes.
4. Emergency Procedures: Act proficiently in all aspects of emergency procedures, remaining calm, alert, and efficient during major incidents or problems while maintaining professional discretion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Telephone and Communication Skills: Possess good telephone and communication skills.
* Computer Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
* Organisational Skills: Exhibit strong organisational skills, including the ability to work well under pressure.
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential.
* Experience: A minimum of 6 months' experience in a comparable setting is desired.
