Our Prospect
Location: Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain electrical hardware and network technology systems across our mobile assets fleet
- Commission and calibrate the perception, positioning and autonomous haulage systems on various HME
- Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs of integrated Caterpillar and Liebherr HME electrical systems
- Ensure the setup and maintenance of our fleet management systems are optimised to deliver maximum fleet efficiency and meet Mine Plan requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external department team members while ensuring compliance with Fortescue standards and policies
- Undertake all activities in line with company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
- Australian recognised trade certificate in Mechanical, Auto Electrical or HV Electrical or Certification in Electronic Communications
- Experience with Caterpillar MineStar products is essential, with Caterpillar Command experience being highly desired
- Strong commitment to safety with 3 years’ experience working in a heavy mobile equipment mining environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP maintenance systems
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written), plus strong organisational and time management abilities
