Job Overview
Early Childhood Teacher – Part time (0.6 FTE) – 3 days per week – University of Melbourne – Queensberry Children's Centre.
Salary range: A$80,000 – A$85,000 p.a. plus super.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement curriculum programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Supervise and mentor other educators, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Conduct regular developmental assessments and parent-teacher interviews, completing required reports.
Adhere to National Quality Standards, legislation and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
Approved early childhood teaching degree or higher qualification recognised by ACECQA.
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012).
Knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks including National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Strong communication skills and collaborative team work.
Commitment to continuous improvement and reflective practice in early childhood education.
