Base pay range : A$100,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr
About the role
Due to sustained growth we are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Structural Design Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The role involves working on Medium to High-Rise buildings across the Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use sectors, amongst others, with a focus on designing using ETABS.
Responsibilities
- Design structural systems for medium to high-rise buildings using ETABS.
- Work on projects in the Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use sectors and others as assigned.
- Collaborate with Senior Leaders and operate with minimal supervision under direction.
- Contribute to explicit communications and reporting as part of project teams.
About the candidate / Qualifications
- At least 5-10 years of Structural Design Engineering experience, with a significant amount locally.
- Experience on medium to high-rise buildings.
- Experience designing and using ETABS.
- Experience with concrete and structural steel is preferred.
- Ability to work on projects with minimal supervision but under direction of Senior Leaders.
- Excellent communication skills including report writing.
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques.
