Job Summary

As our Digital Engineering Director, you will be an integral part of the strategic and operational decisions across the Civil Infrastructure (Transport and Water sectors) Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania business. Reporting directly to the Group Director - Civil Infrastructure VSAT, you will also work with peers nationally and from around the world to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our digital delivery approach. We are looking for an individual whom has demonstrated leadership skills in developing people, processes and systems and growing our digital engineering team. The successful candidate will be able to draw on their project experience to lead and continuously develop the team’s capability and capacity to respond to AECOM’s significant portfolio of infrastructure projects.
Minimum Requirements
About you:
1. 15+ years relevant experience with a tertiary qualifications in engineering, design or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.
3. Strong Group Leadership roles with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to work with and support staff.
4. Client focused (both internal and external clients) with a strong collaborative ethos.
Desirable Technical experience:
* Knowledge of current Digital Engineering software solutions such as Revit, OpenRoads, 12D, Forge Platform, Navisworks, ArcGIS.
* Knowledge of collaboration platforms such as Projectwise, 360 Docs, Aconex, C4R etc.
* Understanding of BIM processes and standards (e.g. BS1192, PAS1192 suite).
* Knowledge of integration between Asset Management Systems, BIM, and GIS.
* Knowledge of VR and AR technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, design or a related field.
