Job Title : Dentist - Clinic Manager

Location : ArmidaleCommunity Health Service

Employment Type : Full-time Permanent.

Position Classification : Dental Officer Level 2 with management allowance.

Remuneration : Total full-time package of at least $181,403 - consisting of $136,108 (Year 1) to $143,416 (Year 2) per annum, 11% superannuation contributions, $20,000pa dentist incentive, and $7,319pa management allowance

Our District

- You will work with a dedicated team of over 200 people across the district, including dental assistants, other practitioners, and support staff.
- We are supported by a group of visiting specialists and offer opportunities to be involved in in-house CPD activities and workshops.

- We deliver quality dentistry, positive patient experiences, and a harmonious working environment.
- We are part of the Rural Dental Graduate Partnership. In this partnership, you will have clinical support and educational opportunities across Hunter New England, Mid‑North Coast, Northern NSW, and Western NSW Local Health Districts. Be part of a true rural community of dental professionals.

About you

- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience post registration in Australia or equivalent. (AHPRA registration is obligatory.)
- Adequate experience as a general practitioner dentist to perform the full range of duties and manage dental health problems of greater than usual difficulty.
- Demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated sound clinical reasoning, problem‑solving, and decision-making ability.
- Demonstrated application of current concepts in clinical practice.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team setting.
- Evidence of ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrated computer skills for clinical and associated applications.

- This position is full‑time; however, part‑time / job share arrangements may also be considered.

- Acceptable proof of COVID-19 vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement (IHS), or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate, or AIR COVID-19 and Influenza IHS. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccination
