Position overview * Employment Type: Part time (32 hours per fortnight), On going position * Location: Warrnambool Campus * Classification: Nurse Practitioner * Salary Range: $144,913.60 - $147,664.40 pro rata, plus superannuation About the role We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and skilled nurse practitioner to join our emergency department team. The ideal candidate is dynamic, fast thinking and compassionate provider with experience in emergency care. As a critical member of our department you will provide advanced nursing care, manage patient assessments, treat and diagnose patients in our Fast track model of care. Key responsibilities include: * Conduct through physical assessments and obtain comprehensive medical histories from patients in the emergency department. * Diagnose and manage patients working within the Fats Track model of care. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests. * Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the Emergency department team. * Maintain up to date accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. * Provide patient education and referrals.
