Role Overview
As Product Manager – Digital Platforms, you will lead the strategy, optimisation, and delivery of secure, scalable, and user-focused digital products. Your responsibilities include platform performance management, vendor relations, cybersecurity, and data compliance. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle and drive digital transformation to enhance business efficiency, self-service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the digital platform strategy and roadmap
Promote automation, self-service, and digital modernisation
Ensure robust data governance and privacy compliance (Privacy Act 1988, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
Align with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, ISM, Essential Eight)
Lead platform optimisation and design customer-centric experiences
Manage technology vendors and SaaS/cloud providers with support from Group IT
Oversee risk mitigation, cybersecurity, and incident response
Monitor performance metrics such as uptime, NPS/CSAT, vendor SLAs, and cost efficiencies
Qualifications
5+ years in digital product management, ideally in SaaS, government, finance, or telecommunications sectors
Deep understanding of data governance, privacy laws, and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ISM, Essential Eight)
Experience with CDPs, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Braze), and CMS (Kentico, Sitecore, AEM)
Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership
Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills
UX/UI optimisation experience with a customer-first approach
