Job Description
A leader in steel fabrication, processing, and erection – backed by state‐of‐the‐art facilities and personal service – Perna Group is a family‐owned company that has grown to become a leader in the steel industry, while maintaining the same work and service ethos. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for full‐time Boilermakers and Welders for our Bibra Lake workshop.
* Ensuring all fabrication and welding activities are carried out to a high standard, and all measures are taken to produce a high‐quality product.
* Reading drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine work methods and the sequence of activities.
* Being accurate, methodical, and practical when welding, fabricating, and installing steel structures.
* Following all safety procedures, using proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring welding equipment is well‐maintained.
Key criteria for success in this role:
* Trade qualifications related to the role are advantageous.
* At least 3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication is highly regarded.
* A strong ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and blueprints.
* Good knowledge of modern fabrication techniques.
* A strong commitment to producing high‐quality work.
* Ability to work in a team environment and perform well under pressure.
Salary: $80k to $90k per annum
