As a Technical Adoption Manager (TAM), you will use your technical, communication, and collaboration skills to help our customers maximize their potential through Broadcom's technology adoption.
In this role, no day is the same, and you will interact daily with your assigned customers to make a real impact on their success. TAMs thrive on challenges and turning them into positive outcomes. You will manage your schedule and priorities to help customers achieve their goals while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Building long-term relationships, understanding technical and business goals, and assessing how Broadcom's solutions impact business results will be key.
Success in the Role:
* Complete a well-organized five-week onboarding plan.
* Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge in a Broadcom/VMware technology area.
* Within three months, articulate customers' long-term and short-term goals, identifying gaps and working on structured engagement plans.
* Establish long-term customer relationships.
* Partner with customers to accelerate outcomes through best practices for rapid deployment and adoption of VMware technologies.
* Educate customers on emerging technologies and align their technical roadmaps with VMware's.
* Between six to eleven months, present achievements using internal tools and deliverables.
* Provide project leadership, coordination, and architectural guidance for major VMware initiatives.
* Advocate for customers by providing product feedback to VMware product management based on use-cases and requirements.
* Obtain VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification if not already certified.
The Work: What will you do?
As part of the Customer Success TAM team, you will work long-term with strategic Federal customers to help them achieve desired outcomes with VMware technology, driving adoption and consumption.
You will collaborate with the broader VMware team and perform activities such as:
* Using TAM playbooks, delivery kits, and tools to guide customers through activities like technology roadmaps, assessments, and best practices reviews.
* Providing industry insights, benchmarking, and operational optimization recommendations.
* Tracking customer plans and adjusting as needed to drive them to completion.
* Collaborating across teams to ensure delivery of outcome-focused value.
* Must have a VCF VCP or at least VCP DCV or VCP NV certification.
* Security clearance: PV security cleared or NV2 clearance at minimum.
