About You
As part of the Learning Support Team as a Food Technology Assistant you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum.
To excel in this role, you will:
* support a Christ-centered learning environment and an inclusive environment for all students
* work collaboratively with teachers to assist in the facilitation of practical lessons
* promote WHS practices in the kitchen/food preparation areas
* assist staff in setting up and maintaining equipment, maintaining stock and ordering/sourcing of ingredients
* show excellent communication skills, be organised, supportive and resourceful
* have experience in food handling and preparation and knowledge of current food safety practices and standards.
You will have attained:
* Food Handling Certificate
* a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification
* a current First Aid qualification.
