About The Role
Due to growth in the business, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the team. You will be selling aluminium and stainless steel products. Covering the regions from Lithgow West through Dubbo, including Cowra, Mudgee, West Wyalong, and everywhere in between.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Building solid relationships with an existing portfolio of clients
- Analysing industry data with up-to-date market trends
- Preparation and presentation of sales to clients and the sales department
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to obtain the best outcomes for our clients
- Having an in-depth understanding of Vulcan services to cross-sell
- Cold calling
Requirements
- Experience with B2B sales or a steel manufacturing background, wanting to get into sales
- Sound communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Intermediate computer skills
You will also be expected to visit customers throughout Western NSW, which will involve some overnight stays.
