Overview
Key Responsibilities include planning and managing training systems, developing and delivering project-specific site training programs, reviewing program resources for effectiveness, integrating the leadership program into daily executable tasks, analysing data and trends in line with legislative requirements.
This role involves leading, championing and coaching CRM implementation and other safety initiatives as directed by senior management. Strong experience in Rio Tinto projects' safety systems is required, along with extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in HS, including experience in strategic planning and demonstrable experience in driving industry leadership in HS performance.
Relevant professional experience in a H&S Trainer and Assessor role within the mining resources or mining construction sectors is necessary. The ideal candidate should have the ability to show leadership in the field and influence behaviours, particularly of contracting partners.

Responsibilities
The Role
As a Project Trainer and Assessor, you will conduct training and assessment activities on a FIFO arrangement (2/1 roster). You will be responsible for planning and managing EPCM training systems and training supervisors and frontline leaders.

Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Safety Management, extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in Health and Safety, relevant professional experience in a Trainer and Assessor role within the mining resources or mining construction sectors, ability to show leadership in the field and influence behaviours.
