About the role 
Join our Operations, People and Safety division as an HR Services Officer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-level HR support across the organisation. This position is responsible for accurately processing a range of HR activities in line with Enterprise Agreements, Employment Contracts, and Government Legislation. You’ll be the first point of contact for HR-related enquiries, providing expert advice and assistance to employees, HR Business Partners, and line managers. Your work will contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services through technology optimisation and process enhancement.
This role will be a 12-month fixed term contract based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment. 
About You 
You are a proactive and customer-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, and you’re passionate about delivering quality service and support. You’re confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to maintaining accurate records and data.
About Your Skills 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation
- Sound judgement, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload
Proficiency in computer operations and business systems relevant to HR 
- 
Required Qualifications 
- Certificate IV in Business or Certificate IV in Human Resource Management
Alternatively, demonstrated capability through relevant employment experience and/or qualifications 
- 
Desired Experience 
- Experience in a similar HR role, including recruitment and HR policy implementation
- Proven ability to support business processes and liaise with all levels of management
- Familiarity with HR systems and a solid understanding of organisational structures and processes
- Experience in maintaining accurate employee records for compliance and audit purposes
Knowledge of relevant HR policies, procedures, and legislation
